LIJOBS.com, Long Island's premier technical and new media jobs site, has featured a weekly Career Coach column written by Deborah Wile Dib, for over one year. The column's aim is to educate readers in all aspects of the lightening-fast changes in technical and new media job search and careering. Timely topics have ranged from professional secrets on resume and cover letter writing, to tips on technical job search, to discussions on emerging career trends.

October, 1999—Resumes of Deborah Wile Dib Featured in the Second Edition of The Quick Resume and Cover Letter Book
J. Michael Farr, one of America's top career and job search authors, selected a number of Deborah's resumes to illustrate interview-winning resume content and design in the latest version of his best selling book, The Quick Resume and Cover Letter Book (JIST Publishing, 2000.) The original Quick Resume and Cover Letter Book was selected as one of the year's top-three business books by Publisher's Marketing Association and was 10 weeks on the National Business Employment Weekly's best seller list.

September, 1999—Millennium-Trends Career and Employment Information Gained at 1999 Annual NRWA Convention
Deborah Wile Dib and Douglas Dib recently returned from the National Resume Writers' Association's (NRWA) annual convention, co-sponsored by the National Business Employment Weekly. Nationally recognized speakers included Richard Karlson, motivational speaker and job search expert, and Perri Capell, former editor-in-chief of NBEW. Topics covered by industry experts included  the most current information on changes in job-search and resume-writing — electronic resumes, Internet job-search, employment and hiring trends, resume writing and design techniques, interview portfolio development, and interviewing strategies. Deborah Wile Dib, NCRW, CPRW was interviewed by Patricia Kitchen, feature columnist for Newsday, one of New York's premier newspapers. Ms. Kitchen interviewed Deborah along with her colleague Pat Criscito, for an article dealing with the uses and applications of electronic resumes. January 25, 1999—Deborah Wile Dib Earns International Job & Career Transition Coach Certification (IJCTC)
Deborah Wile Dib, NCRW, CPRW attended a three-day seminar in New York City presented by Richard Knowdell, renowned career specialist and career coach. At her successful completion of this course, Deborah became the only career services professional on Long Island to hold the International Job and Career Transition Coach credential (IJCTC) and two professional certifications in resume writing—Nationally Certified Resume Writer and Certified Professional Resume Writer.

January, 1999—Five New Books to Feature Resumes and Cover Letters of Deborah Wile Dib
28 resumes and 16 cover letters written by Deborah Wile Dib will soon be published in five books from McGraw-Hill, JISTWorks, and Commerce Clearinghouse. Expected publication dates will be late spring 1999.

October, 1998—Chosen LIJobs.com Weekly Columnist
Deborah Wile Dib is the new resume expert and weekly columnist for Long Island's innovative and only technology jobsite, LIJobs.com. The column, entitled Technical Resumes: What Works Today, discusses the latest trends in resume writing specific to the technical specialist's job search.

October, 1998—Appointed Co-Chair of NRWA.com Web Site Development Committee
Douglas W. Dib has been chosen to direct on-going web site development for the National Resume Writers' Association. Dib will co-manage the consistent expansion of the site, which is the main communication vehicle of this innovative resume industry trade association. As a Dun & Bradstreet-trained business information specialist, Dib comes prepared with a wide cross-industry background in solutions-based consulting.

August, 1998—Cutting-edge Employment Information Gained at Annual NRWA Convention.
Deborah Wile Dib and Douglas Dib recently returned from the National Resume Writers' Association's (NRWA) annual convention, a three-day powerhouse of the most current information on job-search and resume-writing. Nationally recognized speakers included Kate Wendelton, job-search expert and founder of the Five-O'Clock-Club, and Pat Criscito, author of Resumes in Cyberspace. Workshop presenters included experts in electronic resumes, Internet job-search, employment and hiring trends,  resume writing and design techniques, and interviewing strategies.

July, 1998—Awarded Recognition for Industry Contributions
Deborah Wile Dib received recognition at the National Resume Writers' Association convention in Chicago, for her many hours of volunteer work as Editor-in-Chief of the Resume Writers' Resource, the associations' national newsletter. The newsletter is an integral part of the association's commitment to professional development and, in less than two years, has grown from a one-page communiqué, to a 16-page compendium of information from experts in resume-writing, small-business development, and employment trends.

June, 1998—Featured in Newsday article on Careers in Resume Writing.
Deborah Wile Dib was interviewed with the presidents of the National Resume Writers' Association and the Professional Association of Resume Writers, for a Newsday Sunday Business Section article on current and future aspects of resume-writing as a career choice. Deborah was also featured in Newsday's Entrepreneur's column in June of 1997

May, 1998—Work published in JIST Works' book Professional Resumes for Executives, Managers, and Other Administrators, by David Noble, Ph.D.
Eleven resumes written by Deborah Wile Dib, NCRW, CPRW, have been published in this new book of leading-edge resumes for top professionals. JIST Works is known for quality publications in the world of job search and training. Deborah's work has appeared previously in 101 Best Resumes (McGraw Hill., 1997), with one resume honored by the editors as "Author's Favorite."

May, 1998—Deborah Wile Dib, NCRW, CPRW,  becomes Nationally Certified Resume Writer.
The National Resume Writers' Association has awarded Deborah Wile Dib the NCRW certification (Nationally Certified Resume Writer). This certification is given to those writers who proceed through a rigorous testing process that quantifies the highest level of skill resume writing. Only 50% of applicants receive a passing grade and obtain certification.  Ms. Wile Dib obtained her CPRW certification (Certified Professional Resume Writer) from the Professional Association of Resume Writers in 1996, and is the only resume writer on Long Island to hold these dual certifications.
